The story of Poca Terra Winery begins with passionate winemakers John and Karen. John’s great-grandfather passed down his treasured wine-making equipment through four generations, finding its home on our farm in western Kentucky. Inspired by family tradition, we meticulously planted a small vineyard of Chambourcin vines from which we produce superb dry and semi-sweet wines. Every step, from grape harvest to bottling and labeling, is carefully completed by hand, including aging our dry reserve in Kentucky white oak barrels.
