Come out for a Private Guided Tour & Tasting with winemakers John and Karen for a personalized exploration into the world of vineyard management, winemaking, and one of life’s greatest pleasures — wine tasting. Or just come to simply relax and kick back with friends with a shared bottle of wine and picnic package for an afternoon of conversation under the mighty oak trees. An evening at Poca Terra Winery makes for a perfect date night (hint, hint…). Our vineyard has had the honor of being the site of many down-on-one-knee marriage proposals. Whatever you are looking for, we’ve got a little something for everyone.

Kestrel Grappa di Vino Release Party

Please join us Saturday, August 1, 2026, Open-House style 2pm to 5pm, as we showcase a brand-new style of wine, our Kestrel Grappa di Vino. After our initial pressing of the grapes, we soaked the skins in brandy. The brandy pulled out the essential oils and flavors of the Chambourcin and Cabernet Sauvignon grape skins. We aged it, blended it with white wine, and sweetened it up just a bit, to create this amazing after-dinner fortified port-style wine. We admire the Kestrel as the smallest of the birds in the fierce falcon family. You’ll admire this smooth, rich, complex wine just as dangerous as a Kestrel gliding noiselessly on a jet-stream of air.
We’ll celebrate the Kestrel together with complimentary light finger foods. Wine sample flights, glasses of wine and bottles will also be available for purchase.
