2024 Sparkling Rosé Release Party

You’re invited to join us on Saturday, July 4, 2026, Open-House style 2pm to 5pm, as we proudly introduce our 2024 Sparkling Chambourcin Rosé wines. There is the “cheater” way of making sparkling wines by simply adding carbon dioxide to your wine to create some bubbles. Or there is the labor-intensive, working-with-explosives traditional Champagne method. We’re no cheaters! And the reward for all that hands-on work? Well, you just must look at it and taste it and smile over it yourself to appreciate what that second fermentation in the bottle delivered – amazing flavors picked up from an additional year of aging on the yeast and the most amazing teeny-tiny bubbles that go on and on and on. We waited for an occasion worthy of such an incredibly glass of bubbly – yep! Our country’s 250th birthday!!
We’ll celebrate together with complimentary hot dogs, chips, cupcakes, and more. Wine sample flights, glasses of wine and bottles will also be available for purchase.

2025 Chambourcin Dry Rosé Release Party

Saturday, July 18, 2026, 2pm to 5pm, we will be proudly introducing the public to our 2025 Chambourcin Dry Rosé. One of the many perks of being a Poca Terra Wine Club Member is receiving a coveted invitation to our Harvest Party. Thanks to our Pocaterrian Members, these early hand-harvested, carefully selected Chambourcin grapes were slightly more acidic than our later harvest. This acidity added a bright crispness to this beautiful rosé. Aging in stainless steel tanks lent a steely-crispness that brought out the fresh fruit flavors of strawberries, raspberries, and currant. Chilled, this rosé pairs nicely with lighter foods like fish and chicken, and surprisingly, with spicy foods like siracha-infused dishes.
At the Release Party, we will be offering complementary light hors d’oeuvres. Wine sample flights, glasses of wine and bottles will also be available for purchase.

Kestrel Grappa di Vino Release Party

Please join us Saturday, August 1, 2026, Open-House style 2pm to 5pm, as we showcase a brand-new style of wine, our Kestrel Grappa di Vino. After our initial pressing of the grapes, we soaked the skins in brandy. The brandy pulled out the essential oils and flavors of the Chambourcin and Cabernet Sauvignon grape skins. We aged it, blended it with white wine, and sweetened it up just a bit, to create this amazing after-dinner fortified port-style wine. We admire the Kestrel as the smallest of the birds in the fierce falcon family. You’ll admire this smooth, rich, complex wine just as dangerous as a Kestrel gliding noiselessly on a stream of air.
We’ll celebrate the Kestrel together with complimentary light finger foods. Wine sample flights, glasses of wine and bottles will also be available for purchase.
